£90,000-£100,000 plus £6,744 car allowance per annum

6 month FTC with possibility of permanent appointment

About the role

Due to an internal move, we are now recruiting for Head of Finance Business Partnering, on an initial 6 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of an extension/a permanent appointment.

This is a vital role- reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and responsible for leading and shaping our Finance Business Partner offering,

You will:

  • Drive the business to meet growth ambitions by leading finance business partnering in operations and growth areas.
  • Coach and develop business partners to embed best practice commercial finance business partnering.
  • Lead the formulation of the 3 year financial plan, annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Own reporting giving insight into the financial performance of the business

About you

  • Strong commercial business acumen evidenced by successfully driving growth agendas
  • Working in a cross functional environment where decision making progress are embryonic
  • Trusted to advise and business partner peer group (Smiths News Leadership) and above (Board and Executive)
  • Experienced in presenting historical and forward looking financial analysis and information at Board level
