Role: Head of Finance - Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week - HYBRID

Salary: Upon application

You'll support our Director of Finance, Procurement and Risk in running our finance team based in Cookham. You'll manage financial planning and analysis whilst demonstrating your great leadership skills supporting and guiding our established team. This is a hands on role where you can make a real impact....If you have suggestions or ideas for improvement, you'll be heard!

Brief role overview:

• Management Accounting
• Budgets
• Annual accounts and external auditing
• Finance system analysis and reporting
• Support for subsidiary and associated companies
• Tax - VAT returns / review of P11d, PSA etc
• General management - to include development of operational controls over all accounting processes to ensure principles of good practice, cash flow management along with guidance and advising on financial matters
• Leading, developing and guiding our team

For this role, you'll need:

• You'll have great all round communication skills, with the ability to relay information coherently to non-financial professionals
• You'll have a curious mind along with the ability to analyse, review and make sound suggestions for improvement. Be bold!
• You'll take great delight in problem solving
• You'll need first-hand experience planning, budgeting and forecasting
• You'll have worked in a fast paced environment whilst providing accurate and timely information
• You'll be experienced with VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE Tax
• You'll be commercially minded and demonstrate a real interest in CIM and how we work

This role requires a Qualified Accountant - ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
