In this pivotal, newly created role, you will design, implement, and govern executive reward strategies that are aligned with our vision and strategic targets. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our reward offerings attract and retain the best executive talent, drive long-term shareholder value, and meet regulatory standards.

What you will be doing -

  • Develop and implement market-leading strategies to attract, retain and motivate top executive talent, with a focus on delivering long term sustainable results
  • Support the design, implementation and administration of company wide group incentive schemes and employee share schemes and review performance metrics
  • Act as key liaison with the Renumeration Committee, preparing papers and making recommendations and prepare the annual Director's Renumeration Report, liaising with key stakeholders such as the external auditors
  • Partner with the Board, Renumeration Committee, senior leaders and external advisors to develop and deliver an effective executive reward strategy
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking against industry peers to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market trends, while being aware of implications for the business
  • Ensure compliance with relevant UK regulations, such as UK Corporate Governance Code, Companies Act and FCA rules
  • Develop clear an transparent communication materials to articulate the executive reward structure to internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders and proxy agencies
  • Lead and develop the reward function, fostering a high-performing team culture while acting as trusted advisor to senior leadership on all reward related matters

Who we are looking for -

  • Have excellent knowledge of UK executive reward regulations, governance and best practices
  • Proven experience of successfully managing relationships with Renumeration Committees and external advisors, including attending Renumeration meetings
  • Have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at Board and executive level
  • Have a strategic and commercial mindset with analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret and communicate highly detailed data
