Head of Executive Leadership Development
Competitive salary, plus £5,500 car allowance or cash equivalent, private healthcare, 18% annual bonus potential, company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates and generous annual leave offering of 27.5 days, plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days after 10 years' service.

Location: This is a Hybrid Working role with a requirement to attend our Royal Mail, 185 Farringdon Road, London, EC1A 1AA office two-three days per week, with flexibility required in line with business needs.

Are you ready to lead and deliver our Royal Mail executive development initiatives?
As Head of Executive Development, you'll design personalised development plans, complete diagnostics, coach, and mentor Senior Leaders equipping them with the necessary skills for shaping a future at Royal Mail during a period of significant transformation and change.
Working closely with the Director of Talent, the Head of Executive Development will play an integral role in building the capabilities of our leadership talent. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading and shaping our portfolio of executive development programmes to support the talent agenda in line with the organisation's strategic direction.
About the role
- Lead on all executive and senior leader leadership development activity across the business. You'll design and deliver a suite of development products that facilitate the building of a robust leadership capability for our most senior leaders.
- Deliver development activity aligned to our leadership framework to enable career development across the organisation for our senior leaders.
- Support the executive board succession planning ensuring that any potential successors have development plans in place to ensure we have a robust pipeline of talent ready to succeed into the c-suite.
- Build out our executive coaching offering, ensuring the right governance is in place to enable high return on investment.
- Create, own, and manage a range of tools to enable mentoring across the organisation at all levels, including the continued roll-out of mentoring circles.
- Provide thought leadership to the senior leadership population on great leadership and leading through transformation.
About You
- Proven track record of designing and delivering leadership development interventions at a senior level/c-suite executive level.
- You must have previous experience in leading executive and senior leadership development within a large complex organisation/FTSE listed company. Experience of working across a large workforce is desirable.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship skills.
- Experience with leading through the influence of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams to structure/execute programs at scale and with demonstrable results.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to prepare executive board updates.
