Situated on the Bromley/Sidcup borders with excellent links to the A20, Kemnal Technology College is a distinguished secondary school celebrated for its historic, listed architecture and iconic windows. We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Head of English to lead our department and champion academic excellence. As Head of English, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of English teaching across the school. You will support colleagues, develop engaging lessons, monitor student progress and contribute to curriculum planning. Your leadership style will help ensure that all students achieve their potential in both language skills and literature appreciation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Teaching experience in secondary education
- Strong knowledge of the English subject area including language and literature
- Ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Experience or willingness to lead departmental initiatives
