Are you a strategic digital leader with a passion for driving transformation and performance? We are seeking a commercially minded Head of Digital Marketing to spearhead our digital strategy and lead the next phase of growth at Fletchers Solicitors.
This senior leadership role sits at the heart of our Marketing, Business Development & Communications function, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's digital future. Leading a talented in-house team and managing trusted external partners, you will deliver impactful, integrated campaigns that build our profile, drive client conversion, and strengthen our position as a market leader in specialist legal services.
Working closely with colleagues across brand, campaigns, PR, BD, and content, you will not only set the direction for digital performance but also contribute to team culture, collaboration, and development. Main Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Ownership
- Lead the development and execution of a data-led digital marketing strategy across all digital channels.
- Own and evolve the roadmap for digital performance, acquisition and conversion across B2C and referral-driven markets.
- Ensure all digital activity aligns with brand, business development and marketing goals.
Website Leadership
- Oversee development and ongoing optimisation of all relevant websites.
- Ensure SEO best practices, CRO, accessibility and content effectiveness are embedded into all web activity.
- Lead on key projects such as website redevelopment, platform migration, or UX improvements.
Performance & Paid Media
- Manage the strategy and performance of PPC, paid social, display and retargeting campaigns (in-house and via agency).
- Drive acquisition through cost-efficient and compliant digital advertising aligned to audience intent and legal sector regulations.
Data, Insight & Analytics
- Own end-to-end reporting across digital channels, including Google Analytics, paid campaign dashboards, and web performance metrics.
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations to inform marketing and business decisions.
- Establish clear KPIs for digital campaigns, website performance, and lead generation.
Team & Partner Management
- Lead, mentor and grow the internal digital team (e.g. website manager, digital executive).
- Manage digital agency partners and third-party tools, holding them to account for performance and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with marketing managers, brand, BD and PR to deliver integrated campaigns and consistent messaging across digital touchpoints.
Team Leadership & Culture
This role sits on the leadership team for Marketing, Business Development & Communications, with collective responsibility for:
- Driving strategic alignment across functional areas (brand, digital, PR, campaigns, BD)
- Supporting the performance, development, and wellbeing of the wider team
- Building a joined-up, collaborative and insight-led culture
- Representing the team at cross-business meetings and with senior stakeholders
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in a senior digital marketing role, ideally within a B2C or professional services environment.
- Strong experience across digital acquisition (PPC, SEO), website management and analytics.
- Experience leading or managing high-converting websites and digital campaigns.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of digital performance metrics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders with confidence.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience in legal, healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with legal marketing rules (e.g. SRA, advertising compliance).
- Experience working with HubSpot, GA4, WordPress, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting brand visibility and referral strategies through digital channels.
