Making A Difference as A Head of Digital Governance & Schools ICT
Are you an ambitious and passionate individual, with previous ICT & Digital management experience, ideally in the areas of Digital Governance and Schools ICT support and delivery.
Do you also have strong leadership skills and a proven ability to lead, motivate and coach,
If so, then we a looking for a new Head of Schools ICT and Digital Governance.
The role will oversee a Digital Governance team who are our first point of contact for all new ICT & Digital project within the council, in addition to leading the Schools ICT team, with responsibility for developing and delivering a strategy for the Schools ICT & Digital, ensuring every school is provided with fit for purpose ICT & Digital that delivers and enhances teaching and learning.
You will manage the ICT Support and ICT project delivery services to over 50+ schools with a mix of secondary, primary, and alternative education establishments.
As the Head of Service, you will be the senior representative of the Schools ICT team and will delivering outstanding service to them, drawing on your previous expertise and experience, this means that customer relationship skills are essential.
You will have responsibility for the significant budget associated with the service and the large schools ICT support teams of 20+ staff, which comprises of Service Desk, MIS, Training, Secondary Schools support, Primary Schools support, Contract and Projects and Infrastructure Teams with the associated Team Managers.
Any previous technical background in any of the above disciplines would be beneficial.
