Your Role:This is an exciting role within the News Broadcasting Commercial department leading our specialist digital branded content team. Reporting into the Director of Digital, this role will focus on driving content and partnership revenue across O&O, CTV and social platforms. The role will work across all News Broadcasting brands including talkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Times Radio and Talk. The role will directly manage digital branded content managers.
Day to day you will:
- Work alongside the Director of Digital to devise and implement the branded content strategy across both the digital sales team and wider commercial department.
- Manage branded content team performance.
- Create sales collateral and bespoke opportunities for the wider sales team to deliver to market.
- Drive content partnership opportunities and revenues alongside the wider News Broadcasting digital sell, incorporating social platforms, CTV, web and app.
- Build senior partnership led relationships across all major agency groups.
- Support the wider News UK business to drive News Broadcasting's content offering on larger cross platform briefs and educate internal teams.
- Work with senior sales, activation, product, strategy and editorial stakeholders to consistently improve ideation & then delivery of branded content campaigns, to ensure world class service and delivery for our clients.
What we're looking for from you:
- Excellent knowledge of media, agency and client processes and business objectives.
- Deep understanding of social platforms and branded content delivery.
- Ability to manage and lead a market leading sales team.
- An interest in and knowledge of the UK media industry, with a passion for digital.
- Demonstrable experience of working within the digital media space with creativity and a personal drive to create award winning work.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing relationships across a wide spectrum of agency disciplines.
