Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Master's qualification or equivalent level of experience within Digital or equivalent IT relevant experience
- Certification in an Enterprise Architecture framework e.g. TOGAF/Zachman
- Evidence of Personal Development
Desirable criteria
- ITIL Practitioner Qualification
- PRINCE 2 /Agile Accreditation
- Qualification in Project Management Methodologies
Experience / Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Evident experience in the management of enterprise scale IT services with good levels of technical understanding across a broad range of applications and infrastructure, with significant experience in leading IT architecture teams and strategy efforts.
- Evidence of having scoped complex business problems and shaped an effective architecture approach in advance of implementation and deployment activity.
- Direct, hands-on experience with architecture and design methodologies
- Have good relevant knowledge and awareness of market/industry trends
- Substantial experience in a management role
- Ability to engage across operations and clinical teams
- Proven experience of articulating tangible benefits for solutions, documenting and presenting solution designs
- Ability to challenge established views and think differently to deliver the business goal.
Desirable criteria
- Experience in use of a variety of administrative and clinical systems within healthcare
- Previously worked within the NHS

Essential criteria
- Demonstrate high standards of documentation and record keeping.
- AAble to convey complex information across multiple audiences, including senior and external partners. Communicate enthusiastically and motivate others by adapting your style to fit the audience.
- Ability to make judgements on multi-stranded or complex IM&T problems which may have no precedent or where there are conflicting opinions
- Ability to plan and organise broad range of complex activities, formulate and adjust plans which impact beyond own area
- Ability to manage, motivate and develop staff, leading diverse teams with ability to provide direction, understand resource capability and successfully get results working with direct reports, dotted line and/or internal or external resources.
- Ability to coach and mentor staff to support good collaborative team working. creating a recognised and respected talent pool
- Ability in making timely, difficult decisions to ensure project priorities meet critical business needs. (makes balanced risk decisions, taking full accountability)
- Able to deliver with and through others. With the ability to build team cohesion, understanding team dynamics and interpersonal relationships.
