Joining Kingfisher as our Head of Technology and Audit Manager, your role is to lead the internal audit team's activity within the Group Technology, Digital and Data functions. You'll ensure robustness and control of Kingfisher's systems, applications and processes whilst supporting the development of the data analytics capabilities in the team. The role can be based from our Southampton or London offices, 2-3 days a week in-line with our hybrid working policy.

What's the job?

• Support the delivery of the Internal Audit & Risk vision and strategy.

• Perform risk assessments on key technology-enabled and e-commerce related business activities and use this information to guide what to cover in audits, ensuring that major risks are identified, understood and addressed.

• Develop a flexible audit plan for the Group Technology, Digital and date functions using a risk-based methodology which balances appropriate coverage of Group and local risks.

• Lead delivery of the allocated audit plan, with findings and recommendations agreed timely and reported to Senior Management.

• Be the point of contact for the Group Technology, digital and data functions for expert advice on controls and risks - both new and existing.

• Develop, build & implement tools to analyse data to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness and, over time, introduce continuous auditing capabilities.

• Develop the skills and knowledge of the Internal Audit team. Working with the IALT, to bringing knowledge to the team with consideration of risk and therefore audit activities in the appropriate timeframe.

What you'll bring

• CIMA/CISA and experience developing in-depth audit experience in either professional service or large corporate organisation. Retail experience preferred but not essential.

• Previous experience shaping and delivering an audit/assurance strategy encompassing digital, technology and data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply creative, pragmatic solutions. Able to make sound decisions that balance operational risks with business impact (or benefit) and customer outcomes.
