Mivan has 50 years' experience creating luxury interior experiences for our clients. Sectors include prime residential, luxury hotels, commercial and marine. Due to continued growth and recent contract awards the opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, professional and experienced person to fill the following key role based at our offices and joinery manufacturing facilities in Antrim:

Head Of Design

The Job Holder will lead our design team to deliver a robust design capability from estimation through to site installation, ensuring delivery within budget, programme and to the client's specification.

The Head of Design will be responsible for all aspects of design across all projects with a focus on best practice, adding value, enhancing buildability and maximising commercial success. The Head of Design will play a pivotal role in driving digital construction, continual improvement and innovation.

To carry out this key role, candidates must have a 3rd level qualification in a building/construction or architectural related discipline and an impressive portfolio demonstrating extensive experience of managing construction projects including design. Candidates should have a detailed knowledge of design processes.

This role requires excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, solve problems and deliver results. Candidates must be able to foster relations with clients, supply chain partners and internal teams.

Experience of fit-out type projects, a knowledge of BIM processes, joinery, design software and building regulations would be desirable.

Although based In Antrim this role will require travel to meet clients and visit sites.
