The Opportunity:
Join Clarion's Digital Marketing Division and lead content strategy for two powerhouse brands: Affiliate Summit and Creator Economy Live. Reporting to the Portfolio Director, you'll shape compelling content experiences across live events and digital platforms that drive engagement and revenue.
Affiliate Summit hosts the world's premier affiliate marketing events (East and West), drawing thousands of global attendees who are shaping the future of performance marketing. Creator Economy Live is the definitive influencer marketing event for brands, experiencing 25%+ year-over-year growth since its 2023 launch as the creator economy continues to expand rapidly.
Our events break the traditional conference mold - we create dynamic, innovative experiences that bring together mass media publishers, affiliates, SMEs, bloggers, influencers, content creators, and enterprise brands.
As consumer behaviours evolve and EVERYBODY is now shopping online our events continue to grow at double digit rates.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Senior Conference Producer or Head of Content with proven leadership experience managing direct reports and developing comprehensive content strategies across live and digital channels. We're seeking an innovative, strategic thinker who excels at identifying market needs, pain points, and opportunities to create compelling content that drives meaningful engagement and measurable revenue impact.
You'll bring a strong track record of delivering industry-leading event agendas, developing year-round digital content for lead generation, and cultivating valuable industry relationships.
This role includes managing 2 direct reports, making leadership and team management experience essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the content strategy of portfolio brands.
- Conducts in-depth industry research to ensure live and digital content is leading edge and identifying new areas for growth.
- Understanding full industry ecosystem in order to create commercial agendas that are monetizable, as well as educational.
- Identifying and recruiting key speakers that drive audience acquisition and attendance.
- Forge and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Lead production team of 2 direct reports - implement and uphold best practice and processes.
- Continually monitor processes in order to see what can be evolved or optimized to improve efficiency.
- Use customer insights and data to inform content strategy and future initiatives.
- Monitor strengths and weaknesses in competition and identifies USPs for our events and digital products.
Requirements
- Strong production experience working on large scale events with multiple tracks.
- Experience recruiting and working with high-profile speakers and industry players.
- Ability to meet deadlines, follow process and self-manage workload.
- Digital content curation and creation.
- Creating and developing a year-round content strategy.
- Management experience of minimum 1 direct report.
- Tech literate - able to pick up different platforms quickly.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about digital marketing.
- Great at forming meaningful long-lasting relationships with industry players.
- Experience working in the North American events market (ideal but not essential).
- Experience working on both launch and established events.
