Key accountabilities
- Exceeds guest expectations with service, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles, focusing on the core principles. Looks for improvement for better service standards with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the hotel and its offerings in all areas, city activities, i.e., theatre, the arts, special exhibits, concerts, shows, sporting events, leisure activities, sightseeing tours, etc. and establishes close contacts with people in these areas to provide exclusive experiences.
- Actively networks and builds key contacts within the hospitality, culture, and events sectors.
- Hires, develops, motivates, supervises, and performance manages department colleagues in maintaining a culture in compliance with mission, vision, values and cores principles HSH.
General requirements
- Minimum 10-year experience in a Concierge Operation within which 2 year experience in the same capacity in a Luxury Hotel environment with similar standards and expectations.
- Thorough and resourceful knowledge of available city activities.
- Excellent time management, multitasking and organisational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Fluent English communication proficiency. Expertise in a second language would be desirable.
