Job Description

Are you a leader ready to take on a pivotal role at one of the most iconic teams in motorsport? We're looking for an exceptional Head of Composite Manufacturing to oversee a team of 90+ technicians and production staff, driving innovation and excellence in composite manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a vision for advancing composite manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet production demands while optimising costs and inventory.
  • Provide updates on manufacturing performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.

Process Optimisation:

  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of composite manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions for operational excellence.

Manufacturing Execution:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and Quality Control, to streamline processes.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Expertise in Composites: Deep understanding of composite materials, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and inspiring large teams, with a focus on high performance and professional growth.
  • Process Excellence: Strong background in process optimisation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative Approach: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and functions.
  • Industry Experience: At least 7 years in composite manufacturing with progressive leadership roles, ideally in Formula 1 or adjacent industries such as aerospace.
