The Siemens Energy Project Entity is responsible for the successful delivery of these large infrastructure projects. As the Head of Commercial Project Management (CPM), you will lead a dedicated team focused on driving large turnkey projects. How You'll Make an Impact

• Lead and mentor a team of Commercial Project Managers and Project Controllers who are responsible for the commercial execution of large turnkey business
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project performance and enhance profitability in a competitive and regulated energy market
• Be responsible for and lead commercial negotiations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify and support new business opportunities while managing key partnerships to drive growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between commercial, technical, and operational aspects of projects

What You Bring

• Strong understanding of energy markets, commercial negotiations, and strategic planning.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in implementing large-scale infrastructure projects., demonstrating your capability in navigating commercial aspects of complex projects
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
• Excellent understanding of commercial and financial principles, including contract management, risk assessment, and profitability analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across different functions

Siemens Grid Solutions is experiencing significant growth in the UK and Ireland Transmission market, securing major infrastructure projects in both the offshore renewable sector and the HVDC interconnector sector. These projects represent some of the largest infrastructure initiatives in the UK, each capable of delivering up to 3 GW of energy-enough to power 1,000,000 homes.

They involve a complex integration of electrical engineering, digital technology, and mechanical fabrication. We serve both traditional transmission utilities and independent developers investing in these promising markets, with expectations for continued growth over the next five years as the country advances toward its net-zero ambitions. Siemens Energy is a market leader in this sector, with ambitious plans to deliver 50 GW of large infrastructure projects by 2030.
