Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to master's degree (Level 7) in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
- PMO related professional qualification
- Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development
Desirable criteria
- Qualification in improvement methodology
- Coaching and/or Teaching Qualification
Skills, Knowledge and Understanding
Essential criteria
- Highly developed knowledge and understanding of managing successful programmes and projects
- Highly developed knowledge of performance management requirements, data and analytics and processes in NHS Trusts
- Significant managerial and leadership knowledge
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable experience at a senior management in a provider organisation.
- Experience of providing strategic and professional leadership for the management, development and efficient utilisation of large and complex programmes and projects aligned to efficiency and productivity and transformation.
- Experience of working with Directors, senior managers/senior clinicians to develop/implement programmes.
- Experience of multi-agency working.
- Experience of internal and external stakeholder management.
- Experience of working with commissioners.
Desirable criteria
- Significant operational management experience, including leading and supervising complex teams and services in the NHS.
- Experience of strategic working across Health and Local Authority boundaries in support of work being led by Integrated Care systems and other collaborations

- Can support the development of the services purpose, vision and business plan objectives and communicate this information to colleagues across the Clinical Group and beyond.
