About Camden
We are building an Adult Social Care system in Camden that's based on relationships, love and what matters most to the people we support. What You'll Be Doing
The postholders will have responsibility for managing operational teams across Adult Social Care. The Neighbourhoods Head of Service will lead our five Neighbourhoods team as well as our MASH, our Front Door and our Hospital Discharge services.
The Head of Service for Integrated Learning Disability and Mental Health will lead our award winning community learning disability team (CLDS) as well as leading and embedding arrangements for a new model of Mental Health Social Work in 2025.
Both roles will also be instrumental in driving innovative partnership working within Integrated Care Systems and will play key leadership roles in delivering our ambitions for integrated neighbourhood working across Camden.
Reporting directly to our Director of Operations, both roles will be senior members of the ASC leadership team, and will be expected to play system leadership roles across Adult Social Care, the Council and our local placed based work on integration.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
All About You
We are looking for two exceptional leaders in Adult Social Care who have a proven track record of service improvement and culture change. You will have led a range of operational services and teams which are drawn upon by adults with complex needs, including assessment, support and safeguarding functions. You should hold a professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or an equivalent heath/social care qualification. You will have had senior responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality services that are delivered within budget and can demonstrate evidence of leading transformation and innovation that has delivered good outcomes for residents.
You will be a committed and passionate professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to work in partnership with residents, staff and stakeholders in coproducing services and delivering outcomes that matter to people in Camden.
