About The Role
ARAG UK is looking to bring on board a driven and proficient Head of Change to ensure the successful delivery of projects aligned with ARAG's strategic goals.
Reporting directly into the CFO, this is an excellent opportunity to lead an established team of Project Managers and Business Analysts, whilst continuously driving improvement and establishing effective project management standards, methodologies and practices. In addition, the successful candidate will manage the day-to-day business and project activities of the wider team, whilst developing and monitoring the project portfolio and change roadmap.
In addition, key responsibilities will include:
• Providing leadership and ensuring clarity around functional objectives
• Overseeing and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of projects, embedding effective project management frameworks
• Delivering accurate updates and ensure clear communication across the organisation
• Working with various teams, including EMC, to develop plans, priories projects and manage resources
• Driving the adoption of project and change frameworks and best practices, including Agile methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
• Establishing effective risk management and quality assurance practices (incl. Critical Chain Project Management)
• Leading the development of a change community and foster a positive organisational culture
• Maintaining documentation and ensure governance for project/change activities
• Identifying and addressing training needs related to project and change management

About You
We'd like to hear from applicants with demonstrable leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, develop and coach your team. You'll have previous experience working at a senior level within a Change role, ideally within an Insurance firm, with familiarity and understanding of Project Management methodologies and best practices.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
• Business acumen, with understanding of how business' operate and generate revenue to make informed decisions (Commercial and Financial Awareness)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and expectations, provide actionable feedback and effectively negotiating with stakeholders to achieve project goals
• Organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage resources, priorities, and documentation effectively
• Adaptability, with the capability to adjust strategies and plans to meet changing project needs
• Influencing skills, with the skill to persuade and guide others to align with project objectives whilst inspiring trust, influencing, and constructively challenging points of view
