As the Head of Media & Performance, you're responsible for shaping and owning Fox Agency's integrated media approach and driving growth into this rapidly evolving space. From development of campaign strategies, media planning, creative executions, and budgets, through to managing performance, and reporting accurately on results and insights to all levels of the business. You will be responsible for managing large budgets across various media channels and multiple geographies.
As department lead you will be responsible for setting the media and performance vision for the UK & Europe defining and developing the proposition, capabilities and tools to deliver. Working closely with the US VP of Media to align across regions.

- At least 10+ years of experience in Media and Performance, preferably within a global b2b marketing agency.
- You will have a deep understanding of the evolving media and marketing landscape within B2B, with specific experience of media strategy and activation across UK & EMEA markets.
- A strong background across the media marketing landscape, with particular specialisms in Paid Display, Programmatic Buying, Paid Search, Paid Social, ATL, SEO and Organic Social.
- A strong working knowledge of paid channels including Google and Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik-Tok, Paid Display including programmatic, geo-targeting, DooH, YouTube and a variety of Ads.
- Experience with DV360, The Trade Desk, and ad measurement platforms such as CM360
- ABM experience with targeting and segments, ideally with an understand of platforms such as 6Sense and/or DemandBase.
- A visionary leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team while also building relationships with clients and across agency disciplines
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to build relationships with media vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
The Role:
- Develop and execute integrated Media and Performance strategies across the agency including but not limited to Paid Display, Programmatic, Paid Social, Paid Search, ABM, SEO, Organic Social, ATL, and OOH for B2B clients.
- Oversee and manage all Media & Performance planning, buying and optimisation to ensure high-quality and best practice delivery including the execution, optimization and budgets.
- Ensure financial responsibility with scoping, budgeting, and alignment with internal budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, project management, and strategy.
- Manage relationships with partners and vendors negotiating favourable terms and rates.
- Experience with direct publishers including knowledge of and key contacts / relationships
- Participate in RFP processes for Media and Performance related new business opportunities, locally and globally.
- Demonstrate an intimate and strategic understanding of how customers interact with marketing channels and technologies
- Drive operational excellence within the Media and Performance team. Oversee the media buying process, including the selection and negotiation of media partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging channels and platforms, and innovative strategies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their business goals and providing strategic guidance.
- Present campaign and retainer performance reports and insights to clients, articulating the value and impact of media buying efforts.
- Look for opportunities to grow, innovate, and maximise outcomes for the business and for clients.
- Proactively develop trading deals and relationships with partners and platforms.
- Represent Fox Agency within the broader Media and Performance community
- Strong managerial experience and a deep understanding of digital structure in a media, performance and marketing agency. This role will be responsible for developing and running platform specialists, planners, strategists, and activation team
- Leading and inspiring those in your team and outside, with a positive attitude and proactive ownership of projects and processes
- To work pro-actively with other members of the team and wider agency to drive improvements to current workflow, processes and team efficiency
- Managing workload between team members to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, based on skillsets
- To review staff performance regularly and be responsible for their development
