Are you a strategic leader with a passion for education and a proven track record in business growth? Equal Education Partners is seeking an ambitious and visionary Head of Business Development to lead and scale our client partner's impact in the education and eLearning sector.
In this senior role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the business development strategy, driving market expansion, and forging high-impact partnerships with educational institutions, government bodies, and corporate stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a business development strategy aligned with growth objectives, ensuring sustainable revenue expansion and market positioning.
High-Level Partnerships: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with senior leaders in schools, colleges, local authorities, and corporate partners to drive collaboration and innovation.
Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities for growth, including partnerships, funding streams, and innovative service offerings.
Commercial & Financial Oversight: Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and revenue forecasting, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a business development team, fostering a high-performance culture that drives results.
Industry Representation: Serve as a key ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, positioning our client as a thought leader in education and eLearning.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience in a senior business development role, ideally in the education, eLearning, or EdTech sector.
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify trends, assess risks, and drive informed decision-making.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
• A track record of exceeding revenue and partnership growth targets in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with experience in high-value contract management.
• A deep passion for education and innovation, with a commitment to driving meaningful change for learners.
