About the Role

Reporting to the Resort Director, the Head of Accommodation and Cleaning will ensure the smooth planning and delivery of a department which promotes the highest operational standards, exceeding our guests' expectations.

You will be responsible for all areas of resort accommodation and cleaning including our guest villages and entertainment spaces, ensuring that operational plans are in place to deliver quick turnarounds at a high standard for our guest intake days.

You will have a team of 3 direct reports with an overall responsibility for a team of around 300 who are spread across the resort. With your leadership team, Head of Facilities and Head of Guest Services, you will work to ensure that standards are high for our guests and issues are resolved quickly and consistently when raised, regardless of where guests chose to stay and spend their time on resort.

As part of your role, you will also work closely with our Operations Team to analyse guest numbers and ensure that the correct resource plans are in place to deliver the standards we strive for. As the budget holder for your area, you will also be responsible for the delivery of departmental EBITDA plus yearly capital spend (where applicable) in line with budget.

You should have a passion for leading and motivating your team, ensuring they are fulfilled in role and have development plans in place. Guest feedback is also really important to us, and you will also be responsible for driving and identifying opportunities for feedback & NPS growth.

This will be a fast paced, hands on and varied role that really will contribute to our guests experience with us.

About You

We're looking for a strong leader with a solid background in accommodation and/ or cleaning management at senior level. This opportunity would be well suited for someone working at a similar level within the hospitality, hotel, or leisure industry. This could also be a great step up for the right person looking for the next step in this area.

Our operation is large and fast paced, so you should enjoy the buzz of this sort of environment and be confident in motivating your teams to work to high standards at pace.
You should enjoy moving between strategic work one day and getting stuck in with your team to turn around rooms the next. You should also enjoy spending time with your team, ensuring that they have development plans in place to fulfil their potential.

Working alongside a team of Heads of Departments, you should be a great networker and communicator, representing your department during all operational discussions.
