We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Manager to join our Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centre, supporting 'The Red Cell Network' in delivering high-quality data across NHS Trusts in London, the South of England, and East Anglia. This role is vital in coordinating and managing data for patients with haemoglobinopathies, such as sickle cell disorder and thalassemia, and will involve close collaboration with data managers, clinicians, and nursing staff across multiple locations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a keen attention to detail. Your role will involve gathering, collating, and managing data from various Trusts to ensure accurate and consistent records, supporting our commitment to excellent patient care. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively and have the skills to present complex data clearly and professionally.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- a) Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Grade C or higher in English
- d) Experience of using a range of computerised software

- b) Science related degree

Experience
Essential criteria
- a) Demonstrable knowledge of administrative procedures at a high level of competence acquired through both training and experience
- b) Proven experience of working in an office environment
- c) Previous NHS or healthcare experience

- e) Working knowledge of a statistical package such as SPSS or STATA
