Responsibilities
Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Do you want to help create a safer, more supportive environment for people affected by drug use? Join Change Grow Live as a Harm Reduction Support Volunteer
What You'll Do:
- Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors with warmth and respect.
- Support our team in delivering harm reduction interventions, including:
- Needle and Syringe Provision
- Naloxone training and distribution
- Dry Blood Spot Testing
- Provide non-judgmental advice on safer injecting, overdose prevention, and emergency response.
- Engage with service users to promote HIV and Hepatitis testing, safer sex practices, and treatment options.
- Work in the community to offer support, information, and safe disposal of injecting equipment.
- Help maintain stock and ensure accurate documentation using our case management system.
