Growth Manager - Digital Affiliates (12-month FTC)

About the role

As we embark on our next phase of growth we are looking for an Affiliates Manager to continue to grow, innovate on and develop our digital acquisition strategy across affiliate channels for all of our products - Equals Money (B2B), FairFX (B2C) and Card One Money (B2B & B2C). This will start as a 12 month FTC maternity cover role in July, working with the Senior Affiliates Manager for 1 month to then cover her role.

The Equals Group is in a period of rapid growth, having had a record-breaking 12 months of trading in 2023, with revenues up 37%, and transactions up 35%. We are also in a period of new feature releases across Equals Money and FairFX, third party integrations and more - offering huge opportunities for acquiring new customers.

Who you are

You can take responsibility for setting strategic direction and most importantly executing on that path. You've got an interest in data, automations, systems and processes to enhance efficiency of both spend and time in affiliate channels.

You will take over and execute the affiliate strategy across all product lines. You follow new developments and trends in the affiliate landscape. You will work with the Senior Affiliates Manager before she goes on Maternity leave, and continue to work with the Head of Growth Marketing and CCO, setting KPIs and identifying key deliverable projects to drive acquisition of customers via affiliates.

You will be based near our London office, near Mansion House. We have a flexible working policy and won't be expecting you in the office every day if that's not how you work best. There will be some expectation of travel to other Group and Customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • Own all affiliate acquisition models for our key products (Business and Current Accounts, Expense Cards, Travel Cards, International Payments, Enterprise Solutions), across three brands.
  • Manage UK and US affiliate platforms.
  • Oversee the reporting, optimisation, relationship management and payout process for our affiliate partner inclusions across all brands and markets.
  • Work closely with Content (copy and design) to ensure affiliate collateral is delivered.
  • Communicate and execute across a number of key stakeholders to deliver value internally and externally via regular updates.
  • Work closely with the sales and account management teams to understand customer profiles to identify ideal partners, activate and drive lead flow into the business
  • Continue to align with the Head of Growth Marketing and CCO on best processes to grow the business.
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth Marketing, CCO and key stakeholders on continuing new market expansion.

Key skills & experience

  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Confident in commercial negotiations with national and international affiliate partners to ensure the best outcome for the business.
  • Demonstrated experience in the affiliates space, ideally across B2B and B2C marketing and buying cycles - FinTech or payments experience a nice-to-have.
  • MarTech literate, with effective use of marketing platforms (e.g. GTM, HubSpot, GA4) knowledge of affiliate platforms such as Optimise Media and Impact Radius is a 'plus'
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements to MarTech dev team (Container tags, conversion pixels on confirmation page, server side tagging) for best in class conversion metrics and understanding of revenue performance in affiliates space
  • Use of CRM (ideally HubSpot) - setting up automations, reports, comms for affiliates
  • Evidence of launching new initiatives from the ground up, with proven results
  • A track record of exceeding projected ROI targets
  • Ability to work closely across various teams in the business and communicate campaign requirements through effective briefs
