Group Tax Manager

Our Finance team are looking for a Group Tax Manager to join us at VetPartners. The colleague joining will responsible for supporting the management of VetPartners group tax affairs.

The main duties of the role include:

• Manage the UK and Irish corporate tax compliance processes
• Manage the UK and Irish VAT return processes
• Assist with the preparation of CBC Reporting and implementation of Pillar 2
• Support with Transfer Pricing across the Group
• Support with the Group's R&D Claims across UK and overseas ensuring timely and accurate submissions are made
• Prepare the Group's Capital Allowances claim - undertaking a detailed review of the fixed asset additions in the year
• Ensure effective tax governance and controls within the Group - encompassing Senior Accounting Officer and support on CCO
• Provide support to Overseas finance teams with managing their tax compliance obligations
• Work with the Overseas finance teams to ensure accurate provision of information on a timely basis, for incorporation into the Group's reporting processes
• Build and maintain good effective working relationships within the business and with external advisers and stakeholders
• Support with other taxes as required, such as taxable benefits
• Support the wider Group by resolving tax related queries, and or through involvement in Group projects
• Stay up to date with the latest tax legislation and developments

You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and/or a qualified tax professional (CTA/ATT) with strong experience in corporate tax.
