Could you be the voice of Bouygues UK for local communities?
As a Senior Resident Liaison Officer, you will be based on site (Tustin project - Old Kent Road) and be responsible for communication with all stakeholders especially within the local community. Our project generally includes the replacement of council homes, shared equity properties and homes for keyworkers.
Essential:
- Proven experience in a Customer Facing role or Liaison role and having an interface with stakeholders
- You will be Self-motivated and have the ability to show your Initiative in challenging situations
- Proven organisational skills
- Patient and diplomatic
- Enjoy working under pressure
- Ability to communicate with people on all levels
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. - Word/Excel/PowerPoint, experience of MS/Publisher would be advantageous
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Working alongside the Client, Neighbourhood Offices and the Chair of Estate Development Committees
Job Purpose and Scope:
You will be the first point of contact for all resident & stakeholder communication; and you will be responsible for verbal and written communication and to keep all stakeholders involved of the works programme. You will communicate with all parties re the works, specifically considering the impact on the community we are serving, our aim is to keep everyone informed and updated of the works.
Accountabilities and key tasks:
- Working with local Tenants & Residents Association and Community Groups and Liaison with community groups who surround the site
- Attend Open day/Coffee mornings to speak to local residents about the works
- Attend a series of evening meeting and provide Site Progress updates
- Preparation of Newsletters/Bulletins on a regular basis about updates on the Project
- Provide monthly summary reports, required for inclusion in the monthly management meeting report
- Answering telephone and e-mail queries from Housing Associations/Local Authority and Clients. Liaison with tenants by telephone and e-mail
- Dealing with all customer complaints and feedback, logging such complaints and ensuring these are cleared in a timely manner (including raising these at the monthly Progress Meetings)
- Regularly liaise with Quantity Surveyors, Buyers, Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Project Managers, etc
- Assemble and Distribute Newsletters & Bulletins
- Provide administrative support where required to improve Stakeholder Communication
- Follow company procedures as prescribed in COMPASS (in house Bouygues' system)
- You will report into the Social Value Advisor
