About Our Team

At Informa, we've established a Group Compliance team within our Global Support Division. We're responsible for maintaining, executing, and enforcing the Group Compliance Programme. Our team reports to the Group General Counsel and is part of the wider Legal Department.

As our Group Compliance Senior Manager, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding Informa's reputation and ensuring we operate ethically across the globe. Reporting to the Group Head of Compliance and working closely with our Divisional Compliance Managers, you'll help develop, implement, and enforce our risk-based compliance strategy.

What You'll Do

1. Champion Our Code of Conduct and Policy Framework

  • Manage and maintain our global Code of Conduct and Policy Framework
  • Engage with subject matter experts to embed relevant processes and procedures
  • Ensure consistent implementation of our risk and compliance framework across the group
  • Lead simplification initiatives and enhance the use of technology in policy management

2. Navigate International Regulations

  • Oversee our Sanctions programme, staying informed of key regulatory changes
  • Manage our Human Rights programme, ensuring compliance with Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD)
  • Monitor and interpret changes in global compliance laws and regulations
  • Develop new processes and draft policies in response to regulatory changes

3. Protect Our Growth

  • Support merger and acquisition due diligence and integrations
  • Conduct risk assessments and report to management
  • Identify areas of potential compliance vulnerability and develop corrective action plans

4. Lead Global Projects and Investigations

  • Spearhead initiatives to maintain high compliance standards across Informa
  • Lead compliance investigations and provide guidance on resolving complex issues
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Controls, and Treasury to ensure effective controls

5. Educate and Advise

  • Provide face-to-face training and conduct awareness-raising activities
  • Offer 'front-line' ad hoc guidance to business stakeholders on compliance areas
  • Support Divisional Compliance managers and advise on escalations

Please note that this is a maternity cover for 12 Months

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience of advising multinational businesses on compliance risks and obligations
  • Ideally, a degree-level education or equivalent
  • Deep technical knowledge of global anti-bribery, corruption, and international trade sanctions
  • Strong investigative skills and a knack for resolving issues promptly and effectively
  • Excellent project management abilities and experience working with diverse stakeholders
  • A proactive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to manage multiple wide-ranging compliance matters
  • Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues in a commercial and practical manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
