We are looking to offer a Group Reporting Manager the opportunity to join our expanding Group Finance team based in Stevenage.

As the Group Reporting Manager, you'll get the opportunity to:

  • Review Business Unit performance each accounting period, including continually building and improving the process by which Business Units present and explain periodic results.
  • Take the lead to deliver the Statutory accounts and reporting for the companies in a timely manner.
  • Lead the audit process to deliver the Statutory accounts by acting as point of contact between the auditors and the subsidiaries.
  • Prepare timetables and instructions to the subsidiaries to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Be involved in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems.
  • Review Business Unit performance each accounting period, including continually building and improving the process by which Business Units present and explain periodic results.
  • Deliver adhoc projects to support continuous improvement of the Group's statutory reporting & control function, including liaising with the Group M&A team on significant non-routine transactions.

What you'll bring?

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant post qualification experience
  • Committed team player with a proven ability to hit deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical accounting experience
  • Strong focus on controls, processes, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and to use these relationships to get results
  • Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and operate with impact and influence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of using Oracle would be advantageous but not essential
