Group IT and Risk Project Manager

The IT Compliance and IT Risk Project Manager is responsible for the development and management of a comprehensive project plan for the 2024 IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOx project, and the creation of the project plan for the 2025 IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOx project,. This role focuses on coordinating the remediation of known deficiencies identified during the Design Effectiveness (DE) and Operating Effectiveness (OE) walkthroughs, maintaining a clear status view of the project across various regions (Australia, France, RI Group, Supply Chain, UK, and US), managing project risks and issues, and collaborates with external auditors to expedite the testing timeline whenever possible including managing the resolution of blockers and escalating accordingly.

Main Tasks:

Project Planning and Management:
• Develop and manage a detailed project plan for the 2024 ITGC and SOx project.
• Plan for the development of the 2025 ITGC and SOx project scope and timeline
• Ensure all project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with IT Control Owners and Operators to gather evidence and track program status.
• Operating within the Rentokil Project Management Framework (PMF) Remediation Actions:
• Identify and implement actions to remediate deficiencies found during DE and OE walkthroughs.
• Monitor the progress of remediation actions and ensure timely completion.
• Report on remediation status and escalate issues as necessary.

Status Monitoring and Reporting:
• Maintain a clear and up-to-date view of the ITGC and SOx project status across Australia, France, RI Group, Supply Chain, UK, and the US.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders, covering plans, progress, risks, issues and decisions required

Stakeholder Communication:
• Communicate effectively with IT Control Owners, Operators, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all stakeholders are informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
• Promote awareness and understanding of ITGC and SOx requirements across the organisation.

Requirements

Desirable
• ITIL foundation certification
• Project Management foundation certification or equivalent
• Demonstrates a passion for IT and ambition to work in a project management framework
• Has experience in managing deliverables in a project environment and /or shown a capability within their current / previous roles
