- West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds
- 1 FTE, 52 weeks per year
- Salary: £47,448 per annum - £55,824 per annum (determined by responsibility levels and achievements)
The role of Group Head of Faculty is a pivotal one, it is centred on the notion of managing the person, the teacher, at the heart of our mission to raise standards and help students to achieve and progress. Line managing a team of teachers the Group Head of Faculty ensures in a Group structure that the college remains focused and ready for inspection, that staff feel supported and challenged to be the best they can be and to support a culture of continuous improvement.
Working closely with senior leaders, Group Subject Leads and pastoral staff, Group Heads of Faculty will help build teaching effectiveness, help focus on improvement and ensure that students remain our top priority.
