Group Head of Affiliates

Role overview:

Work with the Associate Director of Performance Marketing to drive the strategy for the Affiliate programmes, aligning to the overarching focus of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the relationships with global affiliate networks, devising a strategy and roadmap for growth for each of the programmes across the UK, Europe and APAC.
  • Develop regular communication with all stakeholders including the affiliate network, senior leadership team, marketing channels and business functions such as legal, procurement and finance to develop and deliver a strategy that is compliant and aligned to the wider business objectives.
  • Develop a team of Affiliate specialists offering mentoring, performing appraisals, and providing guidance regarding best practices.
  • Analyse and report on performance to the Trading functions and AD of Performance marketing, providing insight into market trends.
  • Work cross functionally with other marketing channels and the trading teams to support campaigns and to understand performance and customer behaviour across the full marketing funnel.
  • Deliver against targets for the channel globally for traffic and sales and other key metrics aligned to by the business.
  • Develop commercially aligned contracts; negotiating commercials and working closely with procurement and legal teams.
  • Implement and deliver against a project roadmap which drives continual improvement across the channel based on a deep understanding of tracking and programme set up / migration where required.
  • Lead the strategy for the markets/fascia's looking constantly for ways to innovate.
  • Ensure the brand and department is well represented across all communications internally and externally.
  • Develop commercially aligned agreements and contracts with key partners to support the wider business strategy.
  • Host and attend QBR's with key partners & relevant industry events

Role objectives/KPI's:

  • Drive alignment across various fascia's/markets.
  • Deliver on performance targets such as revenue growth and ROI for the channel.
  • Review publisher and network contracts with the support of the lead.
  • Create long term plans and identify areas of growth/opportunity for the channel.
  • Take ownership of projects.
  • Implement pillars of growth for the programmes.
  • Take ownership of plans with the support of the Affiliate Manager/Leads.
  • Create or improve existing processes.

Skills and experience:

  • Experience managing multiple programmes or markets
  • Experience managing large teams
  • Proven delivery of strategy and projects that support wider business objectives
  • Google Analytics
  • All MS Office products i.e. PowerPoint, Excel
  • Power BI
