Group FP&A Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Group FP&A Manager to join an established UK headquartered global video game and entertainment group focused on the provision of technical and creative services to the entertainment industry and the publishing of indie games.

The role provides critical support to both the Group and Divisional teams on all financial planning, reporting and analysis. The role supports Group led strategic initiatives and controls the forecasting and planning processes, whilst providing continuing support in delivering, evolving and streamlining the monthly reporting processes with the teams.

The Group FP&A manager will report to the Group CFO and be a key support to the senior teams (Divisional CFOs, Group CFO & Exec Board) to provide full understanding the group's financial position and insight into its past and future performance.

Specific roles & responsibilities:

  • Group cashflow analysis and reporting.
  • Group monthly exec pack - reporting, insight and analysis.
  • Review and positive challenge of divisional monthly management reporting packs.
  • Stakeholder reporting - board, lender and investor packs (and responding to queries).
  • Quarterly covenant compliance preparation and reporting.
  • RCF management (draw down/rollover requests).
  • Providing support to the divisions in financial planning cycles.
  • Support, drive and own the Group budget/ rolling forecasting and 3YP cycles and all outputs.
  • Ownership of Group BS & CF forecasting to support the group planning processes.
  • Tax forecasts (working with advisors across the divisions).
  • Ownership of group overhead analysis, reporting and forecasting.
  • Support the Group Audit: Going concern, Intangible asset impairment review (CGUs, other intangibles etc.), discount rate calcs, other ad hoc pieces including assisting the GFC with review of annual accounts.
  • ESG Investor reporting annually including oversite/review of 3rd party provider.
  • Support the annual insurance renewal process.
  • Implementation and management of core systems (e.g. Planful) with the divisional finance teams.
  • Lead introduction of new ways of working and drive efficiencies across the finance teams to benefit (AI/ Systems).
  • Other ad hoc divisional support/analysis/reviews - to include strategic initiatives, M&A.
  • Support to group finance and commercial finance colleagues ad hoc as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, preferably with service industry experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with good commercial awareness.
  • Good communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a Group role with divisional and international exposure.
  • Prior experience of group accounting, including experience in multicurrency environments and knowledge of IFRS would be beneficial.
  • Strong excel & presentation deck building capability.
  • Experience with SAP & Planful would be advantageous.
  • Confident working with senior business leaders.
  • Ability to work independently.
