Group Finance Manager - Real Estate Industry - FTC
Location: Central London / Hybrid
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 pro rata
Hybrid: 4 days office based

We are partnering with a leading UK listed real estate plc that owns and manages a high quality, diversified commercial property portfolio. With assets across prime locations nationwide, the group oversees millions of square feet of space and is recognised for its disciplined capital management and long-term value creation for stakeholders.
The Role
We are seeking a technically strong Group Finance Manager on a fixed term contract to support the Head of Finance across reporting, audit and management accounts. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, partnering operational teams and translating technical finance into clear commercial insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Support group and subsidiary year end reporting and statutory accounts
- Act as a key point of contact for external auditors
- Support timely and accurate month end management accounts
- Oversee group management accounts across rental income, incentives, finance costs, development costs, service charge and other income
- Partner with business heads to drive efficiency and support decision making
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse performance by site and business stream, reviewing revenue versus costs
- Support internal reporting and ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders
- Review and improve finance processes and controls within Dynamics 365
- Review bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
- Support treasury activities
- Lead tax compliance in partnership with external tax advisors
- Oversee VAT reporting, intercompany reconciliations and statutory filings
- Support service charge reconciliations and related business queries
- Keep accounting policies up to date in line with regulatory and industry changes
Your Profile
- Immediately available or on very short notice
- Practice trained qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (Essential).
- Industry experience within property or a listed environment preferred
- Strong technical accounting and reporting background
- Commercially focused with strong business partnering skills
- Comfortable working with auditors and tax advisors
- Able to translate technical finance into clear, non-technical language
