Tullow Oil has an exciting opportunity for a Group Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor reporting to the Group EHS Manager.
Job Purpose
This role is to manage key central activities including EHS incident reporting, EHS data management and assurance and maintaining the EHS management system. The EHS Advisor will provide support, advice and assurance on EHS related matters.
This is a full-time role, based in Chiswick, London with hybrid working arrangements.
The following are the key roles and responsibilities of the successful candidate
• Support the relevant teams by providing timely and accurate EHS advice and assurance
• Manage the Tullow health and safety incident performance reporting and investigation system (currently based around Synergi), including interface with vendor.
• Co-ordinate the Crisis and Emergency Management processes, including CMT rota, handovers, training/exercises. Co-ordinate Business Continuity Planning and training/exercises.
• Support the development and maintenance of Health and Safety Key Company Documents (KCD) to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Provide EHS input to contracting processes.
• Input EHS risk issues into the risk registers for relevant teams.
• Provide coaching for relevant personnel to ensure compliance and improve EHS performance.
• Support in the development and execution of EHS forums, promotion, programmes and initiatives.
• Support the delivery of the EHS Assurance Plan, including carrying out audits, and ensure relevant actions are tracked to closure.
• Aggregate and report on monthly HS performance (i.e. Statistics, Highlights/Lowlights, and Assurance Lessons, etc).
• Carry out annual H&S reporting for external bodies (including IOGP, VPSHR) and internal reporting (KPIs, annual report etc).
• Support the implementation of group wide safe travel processes and liaise with the global traveller and emergency services provider as required.

Education
• Tertiary level qualification in engineering, science or EHS related subject.
• NEBOSH General certificate or higher (international diploma), or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experienced in EHS related disciplines.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office software skills (Excel/Powerpoint in particular).
