rEvolution is seeking a Group Director, Analytics & Insights to join our growing sports marketing agency. In this role, reporting to the Global Head of Analytics & Insights you will be responsible for driving the analysis and development of sports marketing intelligence and strategy for brands and rightsholders. You will lead a team of analysts and strategists and sets segment direction while also providing shared services across client teams, service lines and business development initiatives.
You Will:
- Be responsible for building media analytics capabilities to be leveraged across our portfolio of clients globally.
- Lead and coach team in conducting research and analysis for strategy and measurement projects across all agency clients and new business pitches.
- Lead analytics initiatives to analyze fan behavior, assess partnership value, and conduct whitespace analysis to inform client campaigns and sponsorship opportunities.
- Define strategic priorities and develops actionable roadmaps for the A&I segment that align with agency-wide goals and drive strategic agency planning.
- Develop key business questions, performance indicators, and reporting outcomes, tying all elements together into an easily actioned narrative that inspires stakeholders.
- Manage segment budget and team utilization while also shaping professional development of direct and indirect reports.
- Lead A&I services for key client accounts, business development pitches and internal product development/thought leadership initiatives.
- Navigate matrixed organization to lead teams across functional areas, ensures all members are meeting deliverables, and resolves all issues both with client and internally relative to all facets of client engagement or new business pitch.
You Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in statistics, economics, integrated marketing, or related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of marketing data & analytics roles with 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Proficiency in analytics tools like Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, and Salesforce Dashboards for B2B Marketing use cases.
- Strong knowledge of GA4, Adobe Analytics, Eloqua, Medallia/Qualtrics and SEO tools like BrightEdge, Ahrefs and similar.
- Expertise in relational databases and requisite programming language (e.g., SQL, R, or Python) to work with them and maintain data integrity strongly preferred.
This hybrid role is based in our fabulous London office, but has a global reach
