Contract Manager

Location: York

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

We`re looking for an experienced ContractManager to lead operations for our clients in the North Region. You`ll focus on delivering exceptional service, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the smooth running of Grounds Maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site audits and quality checks to maintain high standards.
• Build strong client relationships through meetings, communication, and performance reviews.
• Lead KPI reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide and manage quotes for additional Grounds Maintenance or Tree Works.
• Oversee teams, fostering a positive and productive culture.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and operational standards.

About You

• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping management at Contract, Operations, or Area Manager level.
• Strong track record in client management and meeting SLAs/KPIs.
• Skilled in multi-site leadership, planning, and cost control.
• Confident in budgeting, auditing, and continuous improvement.
• Sound understanding of H&S, RAMS, and environmental compliance.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites.
