Greenspace Delivery Manager
Nottingham City Council

Salary: £56,730 - £60,125 per annum (Grade K) + generous local government pension & benefits
Shape a greener, healthier, happier Nottingham.
We're looking for a visionary and hands-on Greenspace Delivery Manager to lead the transformation, development and commercial management of Nottingham's incredible parks and open spaces.
This is more than just a management role, it's a unique opportunity to lead some of the city's most loved and high-profile green assets including Victoria Embankment, the Arboretum, Highfields Park, Colwick Country Park & Marina, the Woodthorpe Park Plant Nursery & Retail Service, and a diverse programme of capital improvement projects funded through external grants and Section 106 agreements.
What you'll be doing
- Major Greenspace development programmes across the city
- Commercial operations at Colwick Country Park & Marina
- Plant Nursery production and retail, serving 10+ local authorities
- Community engagement and delivery of Green Flag standards
- Management of charitable trusts
- Leading a talented, multi-disciplinary team of specialists and managers
Reporting to the Head of Greenspace & Natural Environment, you'll play a key role in shaping Nottingham's greenspaces leading strategic development, driving commercial innovation, building community connections, and guiding a talented team of specialists.
