As part of the Governance, Integration & Assurance Office, you'll be a trusted partner across the business, helping to navigate the complexities of the organisation and ensuring threats and opportunities are understood/managed to enable best in class governance and sustainable growth.

You'll be responsible for driving success of cross-functional initiatives linked to our strategy bringing teams together to leverage expertise, break down silos and ensure risks are effectively managed throughout. You'll need to effectively co-ordinate, lead and regularly communicate with key stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships.

You'll utilise your project management skills to guide the business through change which may involve integrating newly acquired businesses or exiting a market as a required. You'll drive value enhancement across the Group by offering a central view of best practice, helping to remove obstacles and ultimately deliver on cost saving initiatives or synergy opportunities.

Job Description

What you will do:

• Define, plan, and lead cross-functional initiatives/projects to enable successful delivery of key strategic objectives of the Governance function, as well as the Group.
• Maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders to promote proactive collaboration across the business while understanding corporate needs and avoiding silos.
• Provide a central point of communication within projects, aligning with multiple stakeholders across organisational levels and locations.
• Identify synergy opportunities and additional areas of value enhancement across the business and facilitate the realisation of these benefits.
• Act as a navigator and trusted partner for newly acquired entities, onboarding them towards the Entain Group structures and ways of working.
• Oversee market exits, site closures and/or divestments, bringing together teams to leverage their expertise, remove obstacles and avoid silos.
• Gather lessons learned and best practices from past initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the business.
• Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues of ongoing initiatives / projects.
• Support in the creation of committee papers to provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Support in the development of methodologies, toolkits and templates utilised by the team as blueprints towards best-in-class governance, project management and assurance.
• Aid in the development of monitoring and assurance programmes to enable a unified methodology across 2nd line defense teams.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to lead multiple (complex) projects simultaneously.
• Successful relationship management skills with stakeholders across all levels.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office 365.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
