Job Title - Global Tender Manager

Location - Leeds or London, United Kingdom

Travel Requirements - Travel required approximately 20% of the time (customer meetings or internal meetings)

Your Mission

Lead the bids preparation and submission for global data center construction projects of a strategic customer. Be the single point of contact to the customer for all project submissions.

What will you do?

  • During the pre-tender stage and with the support of the account team, global tech leader and other,
    • Ensure Schneider Electric is qualified as main vendor by customer,
    • Support the commercial team in setting up master supply/purchase agreement with the account
    • Manage the pipeline of projects to be tendered with the account
  • During the tender stage,
    • Be the single point of contact to the account team and customer during the offer preparation
    • Be accountable for executing the tender strategy of the portfolio of opportunities of your VIP customer.
    • With the support of the global technical leader, ensure the commercial and technical solution offered meets customer key success criteria
    • With the support of the solution risk mgr review and mitigate the risk identified per recommendation from finance, legal, tax, risk, supply chain...
    • Lead the internal tender review and internal approval process before submitting the offer to customer
  • After submission of the offer:
    • Support the account team during negotiations with customer until mutual agreement in reached
    • Lead the transfer to the execution team
    • Gather lessons learned for implementation on the next commercial offers

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

Previous work experience in complex Solution Tendering or High Profile customer projects

Proven experience in leading functional and remote teams having various profiles (tender engineers, technical, finance, legal...)
Proven experience in negotiating contracts with customers
Excellent English communication skills
