Job Description

The Global Marketing and Communications (GMC) team, based in the UK, are the custodians and drivers of best practice and expertise across all aspects of marketing and communications including brand, content and campaigns, digital and social media, design, external and internal communications.

The team is closely aligned to the company's leadership and collaborate daily with regional business generation colleagues, based globally.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Senior Digital Marketing Executive to manage our social media channels and provide support across other digital channels and content. The duties will be diverse and multi-faceted, and excellent communication and technical skills are vital for this role.

You'll have extensive experience working in a B2B environment and be comfortable interacting with people of all levels. You'll also have a creative spark and be confident in suggesting ideas, with an excellent understanding of digital marketing and passion for social media.

Excellent copywriting and communication skills are essential, while strong stakeholder management, the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload, and strong attention to detail are also key.

  • Manage the social media calendar, optimising and publishing content on our corporate social media channels (primarily LinkedIn, Instagram and X) following agreed approval processes
  • Monthly/annual reporting on social media performance
  • Support the planning and delivery of social media campaigns (organic and paid), measuring success and providing campaign reporting and analysis
  • Monitor activity on all our corporate social media channels to share and repurpose content from our clients, employees and other stakeholders
  • Monitor social media activity (including competitors) and respond to any events where our brand and reputation may be negatively affected
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of social media strategy, driving follower growth and engagement
  • Deliver social media training and create ways of empowering our employees to advocate for our brand online
  • Ensure our social media policy is followed so that we can manage risk and be consistent and fair online
  • Project manage asset creation with in-house or external design teams
  • Co-ordinate with content owners and publish content on the website following agreed approval processes
  • Liaise with stakeholders as required to ensure digital content is prepared and ready ahead of deadline

Qualifications

Skills required

  • Experience of digital marketing (with an emphasis on social media), creating, publishing and optimising content and delivering digital campaigns (organic and paid)
  • Able to provide both tactical and advisory support (including training) on all aspects of social media
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple work streams
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to identify and shape key messages for digital channels
  • Communicates credibly and effectively about digital marketing best practice
  • Extensive experience of social media management platforms (ideally Sprout Social) and listening tools
  • Experience of content management systems (ideally Umbraco), Google Analytics and Photoshop
  • Excellent attention to detail and appreciation for consistency, accuracy and house style
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related productivity tools
