Purpose of the Role

Joining the central Global Reward team, you will play a crucial role to help deliver our global reward strategy to attract, engage and retain the best people for our business. This role combines project management, planning and facilitation, with reward partnering for our global business areas. Supporting a matrix and network organisation you will be the key reward partner for global roles covering business functions (Finance, Operations, Legal, Communications, Sustainability and HR) as well as global practice areas. Working closely with the Regional Reward teams to ensure consistency of approach and alignment to market practice.

In addition to being a subject matter expert in compensation and job sizing, this role will act as a central point of escalation and support for the maintenance and management of the global job architecture framework.

Strong influencing and communication skills will be important as well as a deep compensation expertise to work with, educate and support key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of compensation and benefits initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with Group Reward Director, Reward Leads, and wider HR stakeholders this role will ensure the project management and planning of the Global Reward agenda by managing a detailed project schedule, documentation and communication/change management as required. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of global cyclical and non-cyclical reward projects, developing processes, creating standards, and delivering on initiatives.
  • Working closely with regional reward team members and other key stakeholders within HR, Finance and the business in particular when supporting our year end processes for incentives and annual salary review to ensure their successful delivery.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective governance and decision making for the delivery of projects (ensures the right forum is informed and aware of the development and delivery of the projects).
  • Supporting the ongoing management of global reward governance to support matrixed working, ensuring rigour and oversight of decisions whilst balancing need for agility, delivering consistently on our principles of transparency and equity.
  • Driving the education of Business Leaders and HR in the motivational and organizational aspects of the reward agenda.
  • Being the global lead and point of escalation for job evaluation and supporting in the ongoing development of the dentsu career framework and job architecture that provides a key underpin to enable the delivery of the global reward strategy.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Proven reward related project and process management experience (from design to implementation), with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining disciplines and focus, managing consultants and stakeholders.
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced international organisation; operating across multiple time zones and countries.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits laws, regulations, and best practices in at least one of our core locations.
  • Deep technical understanding of compensation management, job sizing methodologies and job architecture.
  • Experience and knowledge of the annual compensation cycle including the salary and incentive review, market data collection and analysis, market research and budgeting for salary increases.
  • Knowledge of short-term incentives including commission schemes and sales-oriented solutions.
  • Execution-oriented dynamic problem solver who thrives on change and fast-moving organisation; able to self-manage with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Excellent influencer who is able to create a compelling case based on empathy and analysis/ fact base, adjusting their personal approach to influence change in a range of stakeholders.
