Job Summary

As the Global Reward Manager at OPEN Health, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing compensation and reward strategies to attract, motivate, and retain top talent across the organization. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including People Team business partners, finance, and senior leadership, to support the design of and administer competitive compensation and reward programs that align with business goals, sit within budget and support our commitment to employee engagement and performance. In addition you would be driving harmonisation and modernization of existing benefits structures into a first class reward package to meet the needs of our employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help to develop and then execute comprehensive compensation and reward strategies, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent globally.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark compensation levels, benefits, and incentive structures against industry standards and competitors.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, senior management, and finance to design and implement annual compensation and benefit plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and budgetary constraints.
  • Lead the annual salary review process, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and merit increase recommendations, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR business partners and managers on compensation-related matters, including job leveling, salary bands, and incentive plans.
  • Monitor market trends and legislative changes related to compensation and benefits, providing recommendations - ensuring compliance with local and global regulations.
  • Manage the administration of variable pay programs, such as annual bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentive plans, ensuring accurate calculations, timely payouts, and clear communication to eligible employees.
  • Oversee the management of global benefit and pension plans.
  • Oversee the payroll function and support the local payroll managers.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to maintain and update compensation data and systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Analyze compensation and reward data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Drive the communication and education of compensation and benefit programs, ensuring employees have a clear understanding of the total reward offerings available to them.
  • Support on special compensation projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructurings, and job grading initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to best practices.
  • Own the relationships with external vendors and consultants and leverage their expertise and ensure effective administration of compensation and rewards programs.
  • Support the annual budgeting process by providing data and insights related to compensation costs and trends.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in compensation and rewards, continuously enhancing OPEN Health's programs to remain competitive in the market.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Experience in compensation and reward management, preferably within the healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing comprehensive compensation and rewards programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and long-term incentives.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, conduct market research, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in compensation analysis and benchmarking tools, HR information systems (HRIS), and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Solid understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations in various jurisdictions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance compensation and rewards programs.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global work environment.
