Summary

To co-ordinate and support the roll out of new production finance tools across the global Fremantle production companies.

The Global Production Integration Manager (PIM) reports to the Head of IT Programme and Systems and works with the Heads of Production and Financial Leads across Fremantle's global production companies to support the integration of a new production finance tool.

You will also be required to liaise with Fremantle's internal financial systems team, RTL GSS (Group Transaction and Reporting Systems) along with the company supplying the finance software.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • To manage the project implementation and roll out across the group.
  • Establish effective communications and support for teams adapting to the new system.
  • Provide production management expertise in devising, reviewing, and assessing business cases for further development of the finance tools.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the Fremantle companies, liaise with senior management on planning the roll out where appropriate.
  • Problem, Risk and Issue Management. Actively identifying, raising, mitigating and escalating where necessary.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure they understand their part in the process.
  • Make proposals identifying key issues leading the drafting of documents and presentations to stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the wider development of the production management tool.
  • Undertake training to be a super user of the tool.
  • Work with the business to inform and educate teams on the new system.

Knowledge, skills, training and experience

  • A background in television production management is essential.
  • Adept at managing numerous, globally diverse senior stakeholders, who are often operating under tight timescales and managing numerous competing priorities. Understand their concerns.
  • Be a convincing and persuasive communicator, able to express the benefits of change.
  • Be able to establish effective and collaborative relations across the business and external agencies/stakeholders where required.
  • Has a strong understanding of the TV industry and production management.
  • An understanding of finance systems.
  • Broad understanding of regulatory and contractual obligations related to third party supplies.
  • Extensive experience in managing budgets and understanding key financial drivers.

Required skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills are required along with strong team-working abilities and the capacity to remain calm, focused and accurate under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, as are numerical skills
  • Ability to confidently interact with colleagues at all levels.
  • Competent in Microsoft office packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Discretion and confidentiality

Job impact

A full-time role with flexible hours but will consider candidates who would prefer to work a four day week. There may be times when there are conflicting interests and external demands. It's important you can demonstrate resilience and flexibility in your approach to work and an awareness of the production process; working to deadlines and timescales that may change due to production demands.
