Role Title: Product Manager - Indirect Services
Location: London Paddington / Newbury

Role Purpose...
Vodafone provides solutions and services across multiple markets through direct and indirect channels. This role will be esponsbile for ensuring that our services are made available and fit for purpose for our indirect channels. This role will gather requirements from our markets and indirect resellers and VARs and will translate these into service blueprints that product managers can easily adopt to make their products and services available into indirect channels. This role will also review our platforms that we offer indirect channel partners (such as Connect Wise in the UK) to ensure that our indirect channels can sell our Type B and C products and Managed Services at scale This role will act as an advisor for product manager who have identified a market opportunity to launch their solutions and services through indirect channels. THis role will play a key role in working with our indirect sales and segment teams as well to ensure that we are developing products and services that capture the market opportunity.

The Indirect Services Product Manager will be accountable for the E2E global product lifecycle management of the indirect channel services that Vodafone offers. The indirect services product manager will be responsible for capturing the requirements of our various indirect channel partners and defining a services blueprint for how to launch in a highly automated way into these channels. This includes developing and managing in life our roadmap for people, processes, tools and services catalogues for these partners. This role will work in a matrixed manner with each portfolio to ensure that services are built within each portfolio practice against a common framework and set of best practices so our services are composable and interoperate in a way that delights our customers and has a consistent, experience.

The Vodafone services portfolio will help our customers to adopt, use and get full value out of the digital services that they buy from Vodafone and our partners, with the peace of mind that Vodafone is ensuring that the services are running optimally and securely, incidents and problems are proactively fixed.

This role requires experience in launching and scaling products successfully, and flexibility, showing comfort to adapt direction and priorities as business needs change. It requires the ability to define understand market & customer dynamics across multiple geographies, to define product and commercial strategy and to influence internal stakeholders, external partners and other product portfolios and various Vodafone Business functions across local markets to ensure successful delivery.

With us you will...
• Driving product strategy (~3-5 year horizon) in line with global business and commercial priorities (e.g. revenue growth and new customer acquisition)
• Full ownership and accountability for the business commercials, P&L and revenue growth roadmap
• Capture and translate EU customer needs into clear product capabilities and features or to optimise existing products. Ensure full agreement on these across multiple markets
• Focus on 'total product design' to ensure all E2E requirements are captured including quality, safety, regulatory and sustainability
• Create and maintain global product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Local Product Managers. Ensuring multiple OpCo requirements are captured and integration, launch and go-to-market resources and budgets are planned and ring-fenced
• Working with Global Product Managers within the team to ensure alignment of roadmaps to market requirements
• Working with Business Decision Board where necessary to ensure visibility and alignment of global product roadmaps and to secure funding for new product creation or product enhancements (likely through Head of Portfolio)
• Overseeing the agile product development phase to ensure necessary governance, funding and key deliverables are achieved on time and to quality, working with their respective Technology Product Lead
• Acts as 'chief publicist' for their portfolio to ensure all go-to-OpCo and launch requirements are consistent, scalable and aligned through their Local and Global Product Managers and relevant teams (incl. marketing, commercial, sales etc.)
• Identifying/working with product partners and determining how they will support the creation of new products
• Define product cost & pricing strategy, establishing suitable product differentiation, value-add & execution strategies to underpin product's success
• Manage all in-life and end-of-life requirements to optimise global product performance, capability and commercials, initiating resolving actions where necessary

It would be nice if you have...
• Experience in Product Management/Product Marketing with a proven record of successfully launching software/technology services
• Requires particular focus on customers at a global level whilst appreciating any local differences. Able to manage and understand global customer trends
• Ability to lead on behalf of their product on a global scale
• Deep understanding of EU regulation managing global strategy and commercial requirements for a global product/s
• Requires ability to manage P&L and commercials and service levels globally for their product
• Excellent product knowledge particularly at a global level. Able to spot global product and technology trends, especially regarding the impact of regulation. Good understanding of key enabling product technologies
• Emphasis on resolving conflicting requirements within OpCos, Global portfolios and operations
• Engages local stakeholders regularly on all aspects of their product and includes their feedback in the key PLCM phases
