Job Description

The People Analytics team use People-related Data to deliver actionable insights to HR teams and business leaders, enabling them to make informed decisions. We lead on Data Quality, with Oracle and ServiceNow being Entain's global strategic systems for People data. We are working towards optimizing our use of these key systems, whilst currently delivering much of our insights through PowerBI - whatever the platform or solution we seek to drive adoption of these insights and promote a data-driven culture across the People function.

As a People Analytics and Insights Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and deploying the global people analytics strategy alongside the department Head. Reporting to the Global Head of People Programmes and Analytics, you will lead a small team focused on the People Analytics and Insights service design, delivery, and evolution. You will identify, scope, develop, and deploy people reporting and analytical solutions and people insights across the business. Collaborating with key stakeholders you will drive our progress towards maturing our People Analytics proposition.

What you will do

  • Lead, upskill and manage a small team, setting clear objectives, supporting growth, and managing performance.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of People Programmes and Analytics to shape and deploy the global people analytics strategy, roadmap, and service portfolio.
  • Own the relationship with key stakeholders in the People Function, partnering with them and relevant solutions teams to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
  • Lead workstreams for the People Analytics Team on large-scale programmes of work - from HR Transformation to large-scale Organisation Design change activity.
  • Contribute to the team's work pipeline by identifying HR analytics projects, overseeing delivery of solutions through to completion.
  • Drive Data Quality and identify areas for continuous improvement, collaborating with other teams to identify process changes and tech requirements to deliver data integrity.
  • Be a credible Data Analytics partner and SME on key HR metrics and KPIs providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Lead on our global initiatives of creating and maintaining the centralised People Data warehouse.
  • Develop processes to automate and scale insights operationalisation and work on the implementation and integration of new people related stack technologies wherever possible.
  • Ethics and Compliance: Ensure all data collection, storage, and analysis activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in people analytics and insights and explore opportunities to innovate and enhance the organisation's capabilities in this area.
  • Regularly communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring they understand the value and implications of the data.
  • Develop and deliver programs to upskill HR staff in the use of people analytics and insights.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, and that they meet the organisation's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior management role within an HR reporting/analytics environment for an organisation with global remit.
  • Strong consulting skills to determine requirements and recommend reporting solutions.
  • Experience in writing Insight reports and presentations, analysing different data sets to answer business questions.
  • Evidence of building strong relationships and engaging with Senior Stakeholders; familiar with working on sensitive projects and with confidential data.
  • Demonstrable data visualization skills and experience in designing dashboards.
  • Proven strong analytical skills - Advanced Excel (use of VBA for process automation a plus) and experience of using PowerBI data engineering and visualisation.
  • Experience or knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM Reporting and Dashboards, ServiceNow Reporting and Dashboards, and implementing Oracle HCM Analytics or similar People Analytics platforms is desired.
  • Significant experience in leading people reporting and analytics environments.
