Amplifi is the supply-side platform of dentsu, consisting of three pillars: Investment Management, Media Trading and Content (Original Partnerships & Entertainment); all underpinned by Supply-Side Management practises.

  • Investment Management: Local management of productivity and all media buying and activation across all media channels to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Trading: Utilise our group position to enable market leading competitiveness, innovation and product development with the supply side.
  • Entertainment Content: Enabling new business models through content development, financing, acquisition, and distribution.
  • Supply-Side management: The three pillars are all under-pinned by Supply-side management for dentsu. This is focused on the modernisation of our approach including the one entity for the management of all media owner procurement with a clear focus on robust and rigorous processes.

Role Purpose

The role of the Global Media Trading Executive will be to support the Amplifi Global Trading Team in the execution and delivery of core commercial trading partnerships across our expansive portfolio. This means providing direct support to Global Trading Director on delivery of our strategic pillars to ensure we drive best in class partnerships and future-proofed workstreams and initiatives.

Reporting into the Global Trading Director and working closely with all members of the Global Trading Team, the successful candidate will work with the digital technology and media supply chain, as well as key internal stakeholders, with the aim of future proofing the Amplifi platform and delivering long term value to clients and the dentsu business.

The role will also support the development and delivery of the core deal partnerships with the supply side that generate value for our business and clients across multiple markets globally.

Key Responsibilities

The Global Media Trading Executive has a responsibility to support the Global Trading Director in working with key global supply-side partners and markets to understand their challenges and establish common goals in driving increased value for all.

  • Supporting the design of key global frameworks and strategic partnerships that drive commercial advantage through our strategic pillars.
  • Support Trading team from ideation to full reconciliation of trading deals.
  • Work as core conduit into Sales Enablement team to support in developing guidance to markets on partnership benefits and to educate them on their deliverables.
  • Analysis of market nuances to closely track local trading mechanics, future trends and new supplier opportunities.
  • Work alongside other Global Trading Executive to manage global investment tracking, taking insights and building deeper understanding of relevant macro factors.
  • Support on client and new business requests.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience in a media agency environment with some knowledge of planning / buying principles and trading mechanics.
  • Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of coordinating multiple functions would be beneficial.
  • Strong collaboration & relationship skills to work across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to implement, run and improve processes and procedures to maximise efficiency in delivery.
