We are looking for a Global LoB Expert for our Line of Business (LoB) Construction (m/f/d) in the Business Partnering team "Specialty & Reinsurance", based in Munich or London.
Your Team
Within CFO Global Performance Steering (GPS), the Business Partnering team is a key contributor to foster bold and proactive steering towards AGCS's growth plans as well as provide consistent and comprehensive business steering support along the annual steering cycle.
The Impact You Will Have
Based in the Munich or London office and reporting to the Head of Business Partnering Specialty & Reinsurance in GPS, you will be responsible for the steering of the financial performance of LoB Construction. You will perform planning, reporting and analysis to ensure your stakeholders' understanding of monthly results, and support the decision-making process and portfolio steering by continuously challenging financial performance of the LoB Construction.
You will play a key role in building bridges between our Finance and Underwriting departments as well as sharing best practice within GPS and the wider finance community.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Provide consistent and comprehensive business steering support to the Global LoB Head Construction
- Identify key drivers, risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management
- Partnering with the Regions, drive and ensure quality assurance for financial reporting and enabling both global business steering as well as transparency on financial performance
- Present transparent conclusions and robust financial commentary to enable decision-making
- Coordinate regular reporting, forecasting and planning processes for Construction across the Regions
- Support Head of Business Partnering Specialty & Reinsurance in coordinating steering and assessment of the financial performance of LoB Construction, including consolidating the views from all stakeholders
- Coordinate virtual team for Construction and drive best-practice sharing and increase efficiencies, setting and harmonizing global standards
- Drive projects and implement initiatives
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Significant experience in the financial services industry, ideally in insurance or reinsurance
- Proven expertise in planning and performance management, in particular analysis of financial statements and performance metrics specific to insurance or reinsurance
- Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively, to a variety of stakeholders including senior management
- At ease working in a global team, maintaining effective remote relationships
- Analytical and problem-solving ability, able to provide insight in complex situations
- Ability to manage projects (milestone and task planning, managing resources, controlling, monitoring, reporting, moderating) and to develop solutions while considering complex stakeholder structures and requirements
- Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills, as well as SAP experience for reporting
- Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is highly beneficial
