Job Description

The Global IT Operations Manager is a pivotal role within the Global IT DevOps Department, responsible for leading a team of global, multi-disciplinary IT service delivery professionals in the management and continual improvement of Rotork's Global IT Service Desk, Level 2 Application/Infrastructure/End User Computing (EUC) Support and Service Management Processes in accordance with defined SLA/KPIs and aligned to the ITIL 'best practice' and IT security standards.

This role also oversees the critical areas of service strategy, service design, service transition, service operation, financial management and third-party vendor management.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of managing, delivering, and improving 24/7/365 IT Services to at least 4000 IT users across multiple time zones within a global IT organisation.
• Significant experience of managing a global workforce of at least 30 staff members across multiple global regions/sites.
• Experience of successfully managing and implementing and improving multiple concurrent IT supplier contracts/services, and the turnaround or replacement of underperforming suppliers.
• Experience of effective IT project management, resource management, issue/risk management, workload prioritisation and budget management.
• ITIL V3/V4 qualified to Practitioner, Manager or Expert level and solid understanding of all core service management processes.
