Job Description
Nokia is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Global Industry Analyst Relations and media relations Manager to coordinate its industry analyst relations and support Nokia's corporate communications and enhance the company's overall visibility and positioning within the sector.
The successful candidate will join a global team, sitting at the heart of the Nokia Corporate function and working hand in glove with the media and analyst relations colleagues across Nokia. The ideal candidate will act as a coordinator to ensure that Nokia's voice and position are disseminated across the business in all industry analyst relations programs globally and align with the wider goals and objectives of the Nokia business. In addition, the post holder will support Nokia's corporate media relations by providing strategic counsel in strategic communication and storytelling, messaging and thought leadership.
The ideal candidate must show a demonstrated track record in industry analyst relations, strategic storytelling, and stakeholder management. Reporting to Head of corporate external communications, the post holder must also have an excellent understanding of the industry's analysts and media landscape across key markets.
Responsibilities
- Implement and coordinate industry analyst relations and media relations aligned with corporate objectives, business group priorities, and market trends.
- Work hand in glove with industry analyst relations teams across the Business Groups, identifying and executing activities e.g. at major industry events and trade shows.
- Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key analysts across top-tier firms.
- Ensure seamless coordination of industry analyst participation, including content preparation and produce tailored content and messaging for analyst engagements including presentations, briefings, reports, and whitepapers.
- Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor positioning and analyst perceptions to inform business strategies.
- Partner with other teams in the Corporate function including Communications and Brand, to ensure the consistency of Nokia voice and messaging, and alignment across external communications.
- Serve as a resource across the corporate communications team to ensure message alignment and consistency across various work streams.
Qualifications
- +8 year of experience in communications and industry analyst relations
- Strong relationship with key industry analyst firms and an understanding of their influence and methodologies
- Strong writing and messaging skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
- Ability to influence and act as a voice for the business
- Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the telecommunications business and strategic hot topics
- Team player: ability to work across global teams, sharing information and aligning on plans
