Job Description

The Ethics and Corporate Compliance Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the development of the Turner & Townsend global Ethics and Corporate Compliance programmes.

This is a global role and will involve supporting the Global Ethics and Corporate Compliance Director and Global Head of Risk Management with engagement and implementation of these programmes across our regions and business segments.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Facilitating and supporting the implementation and sustainment of the Ethics and Corporate Compliance programme ('E&C programme') across Turner & Townsend, using a centre of excellence model that facilitates our regions and segments delivering the programme;
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, ensuring Turner & Townsend business objectives are achieved ethically and in compliance with our policies and the law.
  • Assisting with the identification of gaps in compliance policy and procedures and helps develop solutions;
  • Working with the Global Ethics and Corporate Compliance Director to shape the vision and direction of the E&C programmes globally, taking ownership on priority projects;
  • Leading on communication and training initiatives to support implementation of the E&C programme, including driving an Ethical business culture in accordance with Our Code of conduct;

Qualifications

  • Ideally to be professionally qualified in a legal or finance role e.g. a qualified lawyer, accountant or auditor;
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering an Ethics and Compliance programme, with experience across a range of relevant risk areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, investigations/whistleblowing, sanctions, anti-slavery and GDPR/data protection;
  • Experience of working within an global business and be able to work flexibly across other time zones when necessary;
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate complex risk topics to non-experts;
  • A proven track-record of success in managing multiple stakeholders and successfully delivering compliance initiatives in a complex global business
